Our Mission
Our mission is to put a book into every child’s hands, so each month we donate a book for every new Busy Little Book Club subscription purchased. We send diverse, inclusive stories with timeless lessons and beautiful illustrations!
Our library program allows us to send free books to kids who want to dream, play, and lose themselves in a story, all while giving them the tools to connect with the people and world around them.

FAQ’s
Is the program a one-time gift or ongoing?
The Busy Little Library program is a one-time gifting program. When you register your family, you’ll be added to our list to receive a free book once.
Can I register a child that isn’t my own?
No, you must be an immediate family member or guardian to register your family.
Is my child eligible for a free book?
If you have a child (or children) who is elementary school aged or younger, lives in the continental United States of America, and has a physical address we can ship to, they are eligible. We do not have any family income requirements.
How do I know if my family was accepted into the program?
As long as you meet the eligibility criteria, your family will be accepted into the program!
How long does it take to get my book?
The Busy Little Library program is our way of giving back to our communities, so as we grow, we’re able to grow our library program and gift more books to children all over the country. We send a book for every new subscription purchased through Busy Little Book Club, and we send books on a first come, first serve basis. This means that while we can’t tell you exactly when you’ll receive your book, you can speed things up by helping us grow. Something as simple as sharing about us on social media or telling your friends and family about the book club helps!
How can I change my address?
Your address is stored with your registration form entry. If you need to update the address for any reason, please send us a Support Request via the Help Center with the name and email address you used to register your family, as well as your new shipping address.
How is the Busy Little Library program funded?
The library program is funded by Busy Little Book Club from the proceeds of our subscription box sales. We send a book for every new subscription purchased through Busy Little Book Club. Learn more about our book clubs here.
If I have more than one child, will they receive the same book?
We send 1 book to each family, as it is our hope that these stories help you connect, learn, and play together. This also prevents issues with receiving multiple books if multiple children live in the same household.
Are the books personalized?
We don’t write on or in the books we send, but we do include a personalized note with your child’s name handwritten on it.
Where is this available?
The library program is available to families in the continental United States of America.
I’m expecting a baby soon, but they aren’t born yet. When can I sign them up?
Congratulations! You can sign your baby up as soon as it is born.
Do all children receive the same books?
No, we choose the books randomly each month. Every individual household receives 1 book, but we do not necessarily send all families the same book.
Are the books age appropriate?
Absolutely! When you register your family, you’ll choose whether you’d prefer to receive a board book or a picture book. We recommend board books if you have a child under 3 years old. We recommend picture books if your child is over 3 years old or if you have multiple age groups in your household.
